Station Information

Sutherlin Fire Department is a full-service fire department that responds to all types of emergencies, including structure fires, vegetation fires, motor vehicle crashes, rescues, hazardous materials, and medical aids.

Sutherlin Fire Department consists of career staff, volunteers, and students who protect the City of Sutherlin and the Calapooia Fire District, through a contract for service. Additionally, we have mutual aid agreements with all Douglas County Fire Departments as well as the Douglas Forest Protection Association.

Station 1

250 S. State Street

Fire Station 1 was originally built as the City of Sutherlin Public works shop in 1968. In 1996, it was converted into a fire station with the addition of living quarters. Station 1 houses the administrative offices as well as the on duty crew.
